LUT Converter

LUT Converter translates color looks between different LUT representations. A LUT (Look-Up Table) maps input colors to output colors so you can apply the same grade in many apps—on desktop (e.g., DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and on iPhone with VideoLUT.

Supported formats:

• Input: PNG LUT tables (Grid, Strip, Hald), .cube, .3dl
• Output: .cube, PNG tables (Grid, Strip, Hald), .3dl

Exact combinations depend on the input type and chosen LUT size (16/32/64). You can identify the formats by following this table:

1. Open a folder containing your PNG LUT tables.
2. Select the files you want to convert.
3. Set Input Format to match your PNG style (Grid, Strip, or Hald).
4. Set Output Format to .cube and choose the LUT Size (16/32/64).
5. Click Start Converting.

You can preview LUTs against your own images by pressing the Images button. Also available: Before/After view and Save Image.

You can now use the generated .cube files in DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and other LUT-compatible applications.

1. Use the Presets2Image Lightroom plugin to batch apply presets and generate PNG LUT tables in LUT Compatible mode.
2. Open those PNG LUTs in LUT Converter.
3. Convert them to .cube or other formats.

1. Click the three-dot menu in the top-right and choose Send to VideoLUT.
2. Save .zip method:
   1. The .zip file is saved to your Mac.
   2. Go to the folder where it was saved and move it into your iCloud Drive.
   3. On your iPhone, open VideoLUT → Menu → Organize and Import, choose or create a group, tap Import, and select the .zip file from iCloud.
   


3. Email .zip method:
   1. Email the .zip file to yourself.
   2. On your iPhone, open the attachment and choose VideoLUT to import.
